I'm confused. How do you know what shape to make the blob if you don't understand its perspective shape? Isn't the whole point of drawing boxes to do this the other way around?

this got me wondering whether i got some kind of perception issue. Thumbnail: Pointed tree is either grey or brownish yellow Intro: colour I saw was "ugly dark yellow", with slight of hesitation because the red one looked very yellow while the green one looked a bit red/pinkish. EX1: Got me EX2: "That's gotta be "disgusting yellow"" EX3: Got me EX4: "disgusting yellow again? nah not 4 times..." Last bit was very interesting though. thank you!

Never really looked at hero art but decided to watch this video and got a new appreciation of what goes into making this images. Ryan does an amazing demonstration. Not my field of interest as far as me creating this field but will look at any hero art I see with respect for the process. Ryan is Soooo talented.

If you're starting with a box... Then how do you know the wall of your box is a square? Cause it has to be square not a rectangle to fit a perfect elipse inside (circle in perspective) 😉🧐 So actually the point for this exercise is to make 1st wall of your box look like a square in perspective 😊 I'm a drawing teacher and I watch your videos to refresh and strengthen my skills 👍Thanks for your videos!
